J. Carr McLamb, Jr., an associate with the Firm, was recently appointed by the City Council to serve a second two-year term on the Raleigh Board of Adjustment.  In 2009, Mr. McLamb was nominated by former City Council member, Philip Isley, and appointed by the Council to serve a two-year term as a City Alternate Member of the Board.  After accepting the Council’s recent appoint, Mr. McLamb began serving his second term in July as  City Alternate.  The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body which hears appeals on variances, special exceptions and interpretations in the zoning regulations.
