Mr. Carr, a member of the firm, primarily provides legal services and lobbying services for numerous trade and professional associations, other nonprofit organizations and business interests before the North Carolina General Assembly and all state agencies. Mr. Carr is honored to have served as pro-bono legal counsel for Association Executives of North Carolina since 2004. Other clients include American Cancer Society, NC Association of ABC Boards, NC Funeral Directors Association, NC Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, NC Association of Free Clinics, NC Pediatric Society, NC Veterinary Medical Association, and NC Propane Gas Association.

Mr. Carr also advises homeowners associations on their rights as creditors in bankruptcy matters and generally with respect to community association law. Mr. Carr maintains a general business law practice, including contracts and corporate law, for many long-time clients.

As a certified mediator, Mr. Carr brings a pragmatic approach to all matters and is a problem solver. For general civil litigation matters, Mr. Carr primarily represents contractors and executive search and recruitment companies.

Mr. Carr has practiced with the firm since 1993.
