E. Scott Bowers practices in the areas of corporate and business law, estate planning and commercial real estate. Paul T. Flick primarily practices in business and commercial litigation, concentrated in the area of rights of business clients and secured creditors in State and Federal Courts. Mr. Flick has written numerous articles and is a frequent lecturer on legal ethics, collections and the rights' of secured creditors. In addition, Mr. Flick is certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediated settlement conferences in Civil Superior Court actions.Read more

R. Frank Gray, a Member of the Firm, primarily practices in areas of business and banking law, administrative/legislative representation, and municipal law. Mr. Gray is counsel for Paragon Commercial Bank, as well as counsel to several trade associations. Read more

Lori Peoples Jones is a Member of the Firm and focuses her practice on general civil litigation matters. She has experience with construction litigation and general liability defense matters. She is licensed to practice in North Carolina and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. Read more

John R. Jordan Jr. founded the Firm in 1951. A former member of the North Carolina Senate, Mr. Jordan has served on numerous government and civic boards and commissions. Mr. Jordan also has been a member of the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina, where he has served as Chairman. Read more

John D. Love, Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Love practiced estate planning, probate, and business law in Raleigh, and also worked with a Raleigh-based accounting firm where he specialized in the taxation of pass-through entities. Read more

Joseph E. Propst is a member and has been with the Firm since May 2004. He focuses his practice on business and construction litigation matters regularly representing subcontractors, general contractors and owners in matters involving materialman's liens and bond claims on both private and public construction projects in both State and Federal Courts.
